Front-End Software Engineer (Vue.js or React)

We're looking for a Software Engineer who’s passionate about crafting high-quality user experiences and modern technologies. Core assignments

Take ownership of our 'Storiez' product, collaborating closely with the team to drive its evolution and seamless integration with our core cloud-based Cuez products.
Analyze, design and implement new features in collaboration with our design team, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and aesthetics. This is more than a front-end project, so you will need to keep an eye on the ‘big picture’ to ensure proper architectural decisions are made.
Contribute to an evolving codebase shaped by the energy of a fast-moving environment. You are comfortable navigating complexity and legacy code, while systematically implementing structure, best practices and long-term stability. You see opportunity in that momentum and are motivated by the chance to make things better every day.
Maintain close communication with the core product team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices.

Your profile

Experience: As a rule of thumb, we’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
Expertise: You're either experienced with Vue.js or React and you are interested in Svelte. In the styling department, you deeply understand how CSS works and enjoy it. Practical experience with Tailwind CSS is preferable.
Organized: You possess a keen eye for detail, a structured approach to problem-solving.
Growth Mindset: You have a passion for continuous learning and growth.
Proactive: You're a 'go-getter' who can anticipate problems or opportunities and take action with your team to ensure they're properly mitigated. You're not hesitant to take the initiative to quickly sync with stakeholders to unblock yourself.
Communication: Your communication skills, particularly in English, are exemplary.
Location: You are based in Belgium making it possible for you to pop into our lively office in Leuven 2x / week.
